During London Cocktail Week 2014 the Pisco Bar at LIMA Floral will host the Pisco Punch Bar in partnership with Difford’s Guide and the Peru Trade & Investment Office – UK. For five nights only, from Monday 6th until Friday 10th October, cocktail expert Simon Difford will be showcasing the best of Peru’s national spirit, Pisco.
Each evening, from 6pm to 11pm, the Difford’s Guide crew will be shaking up delicious Pisco Punch cocktails at LIMA Floral. The Pisco Punch will include a unique Peruvian Pisco blend, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice, Lemon Juice & Clove, topped up with Champagne and will be offered to all London Cocktail Week wristband wearers for just £4.
LIMA Floral’s existing cocktail list will be also available from the LIMA Floral team under resident mixologist, Damiano Barbato. Influenced by Peru, Pisco features heavily in innovative drinks such as El Senor de Sipan (Prosecco, Apple Juice, Raspberry Syrup, Pisco, Campari and Pisco foam) and El Solitario (Pisco, Triple Sec, Strawberry Syrup and Ginger Ale) and LIMA Floral’s classic Pisco Sour is not to be missed. In addition LIMA Floral will offer several varieties of Pisco for tasting during the pop-up, including Italia, Torontel, Acholado and Quebranta.
The LIMA Floral bar menu of Peruvian small plates, known as ‘piqueos’, will be on offer for those looking for a light bite with their cocktails. Robert Ortiz, executive chef, has designed a menu of ceviches and tostadas to compliment the drinks.
The pop-up is a first for Difford’s Guide, and will offer London’s cocktail-lovers an introduction to LIMA Floral’s basement bar, which having recently opened has become a vibrant new addition to Covent Garden’s bar scene.
