Sadly this post marks the end to Summer as we know it, as KERB Saturdays closes for the start of the Autumn months. Beneath a mixture of sunshine and precipitation (evident on the camera in places…grrrr!) KERB patrons reveled in live music, smooth cocktails and the finest street food around. All to the backdrop of the fabulous Granary Square. If you were there at all this Summer, you will know what a treat these days are! Let’s just hope that midst the closures of the City Point and Gherkin sites, this Granary Square spot will be popping up again in the not so distant future!
First things first, we hit the bar while the sun was still shining.
KERB music was on hand to keep the bar queue merry!
Gin Brambles and Calabrian Coolers were the chosen tipples of the day.
Swiftly followed by a visit to the girls from Capish?
I sampled the incredible Braciole – Thin slices of beef, stuffed with pecorino, parsley, garlic & chilli, rolled then slow cooked in a beefy, bone marrow sauce!
Sunbathing by the fountains, catching rays in between the clouds.
Kimchinary was doing a storming trade as usual!
The guys at Healthy Yummies were serving up scallops in their shells.
The Grilling Greek was in town!
Luardos‘ burritos were going down well with the clan.
It was great to meet the guys from Skip Garden Cafe who were working with local young people to create soups, salad boxes, drinks and cakes made from their own organic produce.
What The Dickens! were smoking cheese on site!
The menu for Donosita Social Club was delicious, we indulged in some Iberico Pork Cheek.
For something a bit sweeter Kooky Bakes had all the answers. Their Signature Slice was divine!
And all washed down by an incredibly refreshing Raspberry Lemonade from Square Root London
