Forza Win(ter) is back!
It’s dropped the cheese, got four walls and created a completely wood fired kitchen!
The incredible Forza Win(ter) returns for another season of incredible eats. Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday throughout November and December 2013 a disused pickle factory in Hackney will play host to a traditional, communal, Italian Winter feast.
Hot on the heels of a successful summer collaboration with Ginger Pig, Forza Winter will have Porchetta at it’s core. Cooked outdoors (come rain or shine) over Kentish Oak, this is no ordinary pork! Continuing the relationship with the Ginger Pig, they’ll be serving an otherwise unavailable shoulder from a slightly younger rare-breed pig, alongside 3 other courses of minestrone, pigs head salad and figs with smoked ricotta to finish.
Drinks wise – A hot chocolate bar complete with Italian punch, hot spiced beer and mulled port and pomegranate will help customers ward off the cold. To accompany such a special winter menu, a very specially selected small grower wine list replete with fizzy reds, orange wines and wine in a box that’s actually really, really good.
