BRASILIAN RESTAURANT CABANA TO OPEN IN ISLINGTON
Award-winning Brasilian barbecue restaurant Cabana will be opening its latest site on Upper Street in Islington this winter, proving that the Latin spirit is showing no sign of slowing down.
Set to open its doors to the public on the 30th of November, Cabana will be bringing its vibrant menu and signature barbecue skewers to Islington, introducing the area to its signature Spicy Malagueta Chicken and sticky Barbecue Ribs (as seen at Ribstock), alongside other freshly grilled meats.
Completing the Brasilian experience will be street food dishes like Coxinhas (croquettes of shredded chicken and spices) and sides such as Casava Chips and Brasilian Homeslaw made, with Cashews and Mango.
With a strong emphasis on drinks, Cachaça and Brasil’s national cocktail, the Caipirinha, will head the distinctly Brasilian menu. Other favourites include the sweet and spicy Carmen Miranda with Chili, Mango, Spiced Rum & a hint of vanilla and the Strawberry Batida, a Brasilian smoothie with Cachaça, Fresh Strawberries, Sugar & Coconut Cream.
