Burj Al Arab – A Luxury Paradise

When it comes to travel, there are many ways to see the world but when we set our sights on Dubai, we knew that the luxury route was the only way to go. In a land where indulgence is king, this brilliant desert wonderland has some of the most fantastic hotels in the world, none more so than the seven star Burj Al Arab.

Since 1999 the Burj Al Arab has been wowing guests from across the globe and rightly so to! Only the best will do for the lucky inhabitants of the hotel, from chauffeured Rolls Royce Phantom pick-ups at the airport, diligent teams of butlers for each floor and even Nathan Outlaw on hand to create some of the finest seafood dishes in Dubai.

There is a real sense of grandeur from the moment you float across the bridge that connects the Burj Al Arab from it’s man-made island to the mainland and passing into what has to be one of the most incredible hotel atriums we have ever seen.

The views don’t stop there either. Our room was located on the 8th floor, offering expansive scenes down the shoreline, overlooking the city and the brilliant Pierchic restaurant out at sea.

When you’re not being bowled over by the scenery and architecture, the facilities are more than enough to keep you interested, as long as you like to relax, eat, drink and indulge! The North Deck, a 328 foot extension out into the sea housing 32 cabanas and 400 sun loungers,  was added at the start of the year and is the perfect sun trap to take in the 30 degree heat. Guests can decide between the fresh water and salt water pools before taking in the beautiful sea panoramas or lunching at the new Scape terrace restaurant. The Octopus Salad was one of the highlight dishes from our visit!

All rooms in the hotel are built over two floors, with a living area on the bottom floor and the bedrooms above. As you can imagine, the interiors are pretty impressive and no stone goes unturned with regards to comfort. We even got a peek inside the Presidential Suite whilst we were there. Take a look at our 360 degree tour below and explore the suite for yourself!

We’ll be touching on our experiences of the restaurants in our next posts over the coming week and can’t wait to share some of our favourite dishes.

When it comes to luxury, the Burj Al Arab know exactly how to do it. Perfect for a truly special occasion, you will not be disappointed!

Enjoy!
