5cc to open in the heart of the City of London
5cc, London’s most intimate cocktail bar, is set to open its latest establishment in the heart of the City of London in early December. Tucked away above Harrild & Sons, an old print house turned public house, the new 5cc will be a hidden gem for discerning cocktail and whisky drinkers in this historic area of London.
The new bar will remain true to 5cc’s classic cocktail philosophy, while also offering a sanctuary for whisky lovers, with an impressive collection of rare and sought-after whiskies that have been sourced from around the world. From Japan to Kentucky, all the whiskies have been hand-selected for the bar by Piyush Chavda and his team, who will be on hand to guide guests through the collection.
For the first time ever, patrons of 5cc City of London will be able to apply for membership of the bar, giving them priority booking and after-hours access to the bar from 1am – 3am each night using a highly coveted membership card.
The unique menu at 5cc City of London will include the signature Forgotten Range, bespoke mixes that are matured at the bar over time in individual vintage perfume bottles. Alongside this will be a selection of vintage liquors sourced from independent and boutique suppliers, handpicked by a Piyush Chavda – a fifteen-year bar veteran with worldwide experience that fits perfectly with the 5cc ethos. Furthermore, 5cc’s unique food menu will be available, consisting of a carefully selected range of oysters and other seafood that comes served with unexpected and unusual accompaniments.
Located above Harrild & Sons at 26 Farringdon Street, EC4A 4AB, the bar will be open every Tuesday to Thursday 6pm until 1am, Friday andSaturday 6pm until 3am (members only from 1-3am).
